![Opening of Gourock Outdoor Pool 2024<br/><br/><br/>Gourock Outdoor Pool is a salt water public lido in Gourock, Inverclyde, Scotland. It is the oldest heated swimming pool in Scotland.<br/><br/>The pool is heated and uses salt water taken from the Firth of Clyde. The water is filtered, cleaned and maintained at a minimum temperature of 29 °C (84 °F). Facilities include a gym and a children's pool. The lido opens from May to the first week in September.<br/><br/>The pool is managed by Inverclyde Leisure.<br/><br/>The lido was opened in 1909,[3] and the water heating system was installed in 1969.<br/><br/>It was closed at the end of the 2010 summer season for a major improvement project, which was completed before the end of 2011. However, things change for him when he falls for Tinni, a witty and beautiful chartered accountant.<br/>Cast: Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Anubhav Singh Bassi, Dimple Kapadia, Boney Kapoor<br/><br/>In a normal universe, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar is about a ‘boy’ and a ‘girl’ who fall in love only to realize that they want different things from life. Breaking up is a problem because they’re not Gen Z enough to ghost each other. At most, they hang around in the relationship until the love dissipates. Anything to not have “the talk”. In this normal universe, the film is certainly not called Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, or anything on the lines of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Pyaar Ka Punchnama. But in Luv Ranjan’s universe, this same story is a bitter battle of sexes between a good-looking boy and a gorgeous girl who tries to leave him because – horror of horrors – she likes her independence and his family is too overbearing.<br/><br/>You can’t say Ranjan isn’t trying. If anything, this is him reacting to the criticism – that is, the (correct) accusations of casual misogyny bubble-wrapped in crowd-pleasing comedy – of his previous movies. You see, the women in those movies (Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety) were scheming, conniving caricatures who forced their boyfriends to choose between bromance and romance. Love was a messy war of ownership. But here, the conflict is centered on the woman’s inability to be cruel and manipulative; she is too evolved to be the quintessential Luv Ranjan heroine. (Coincidentally, actress Shraddha Kapoor’s breakout film, from 2011, was called Luv Ka The End). Her Nisha in this film is so nice that, rather than force poor Rohan (Ranbir Kapoor) to choose between his family and her, she attempts to do the nobler thing: Gaslight him into believing he’s the issue. Nisha would rather have Rohan reject her than the other way around. You see, her dishonesty is merely an expression of compassion. This is Luv Ranjan being progressive.<br/><br/>Never mind that Rohan, like his Kartik Aaryan-esque predecessors, decides to turn her predicament into a game. At stake is the incorruptible Indian idea of marrying not just the person, but also the family. In the pink corner lies Rohan’s courage to go from cold Casanova to heartbreaking martyr, and his pride of being a Momma’s Boy. In the blue corner lies Nisha’s reluctance to sacrifice her own ambitions at the altar of Rohan’s Barjatya-shaped love. There can be only one winner. At one point, he subjects Nisha to a sexist rant about women and jobs – except that he’s only pretending to be a horrible man. He’s pretending to be a Kabir Singh so that nobody blames her. For a moment, I was almost impressed by Luv Ranjan’s self-awareness to use toxic masculinity as a smokescreen.")

Though, Caitlin Clark put up 21 points in her WNBA debut, it did not knock Ogunbowale off her game, hitting the game-winning three-pointer to clinch the win. <br/><br/>Jaelyn Brown who got things going on the defensive end, led the Wings with 21 points, five rebounds, and one assist. Head coach Latricia Trammell said postgame that Brown’s performance was no surprise, saying she knew that when Jaelyn came in she would be an X-factor on this Dallas squad. <br/><br/>“Jaelyn has really stood out in practice, not only by the staff and I, but as well as her teammates,” said Trammell. “I knew what she was capable of and what I love about it is before she came, I told everyone that she was going to be that X-factor. And she hasn’t disappointed.”<br/><br/>The Indiana Fever opened the game with a 14-3 run, led by Clark’s three-point shooting. She sank four of eight threes in the first half alone. Dallas found its offensive rhythm towards the end of the quarter, with Brown taking charge of the offensive momentum.<br/><br/>Dallas secured its first lead with, rookie Jacy Sheldon’s, three-pointer with 2:08 remaining in the quarter. But the Fever’s fast-paced offense appeared to unsettle Dallas. Indiana went on a 13-7 run. NaLyssa Smith’s two-point shot helped the Fever into halftime, 48-40.<br/><br/>What was hurting Dallas was their ability to shoot from the three, only making 5-of-22 attempts compared to Indiana’s 6-of-14 from deep. But the Wings worked their way back from an eight-point deficit to tie at 62-62 in the opening minutes of the final quarter. <br/><br/>Clark had a shot clock violation in the last 24 seconds, turning the ball over to Dallas with the chance to take the victory. Ogunbowale did not take the opportunity lightly, running down the clock and hitting a crucial three to give Dallas a 79-76 lead with only three seconds left to secure the game. <br/><br/>UP NEXT: The Dallas Wings will remain at College Park Center for their final preseason matchup against the Chicago Sky on Wednesday, May 15th.
