Kika Kyriakakoun(video collage, 2014)nA video collage inspired by the Second Sex, Simone De Bouvoir’s iconic book. Using excerpts from retro or cult sci-fi movies and videos, in which women are shown either as aliens or space heroines, the video intends to illustrate the quite common practice of sexist portrayals on screen and to question the changes in women's position in contemporary societies.
