This was a really fun project that Ken Brown and I made for Sesame Street. Each one of us drew every other face and then morphed one into the other on animation paper. Then Ken inked the drawings onto cels and I painted them, morphing the colors drop by drop with liquid acrylic cel paint. The soundtrack was made by Caleb Sampson, who went on to work with the Alloy Orchestra as well as Errol Morris. The voice over was done by the documentary director Jane Gillooly.
