Description: Each autumn the 1,500 American bison that roam free in Custer State Park are rounded up into the buffalo corrals.Once in the corrals, the animals are sorted by the park's resource personnel and most are released back into the park. Others remain in the corrals until the November auction, after first being vaccinated. The roundup is not only an incredible display of the Old West, but also necessary for the health of the herd and the park.nncamera: Canon 5d Mark IInlenses: 500mm ZMN 3M-5A, 200mm
