Description: Aho is the name for the weft or cross-thread of weaving. Aho means line of descent. Aho means radiant light. Guided by Hine Turama (atua of stars) and Hineteiwaiwa (atua of weaving, cycles of the moon, and childbirth), Maija explores how to collaborate light and harakeke to indigenise her photographic practice. Experience a cosmic interpretation of te whare pora (the house of weaving) made tangible by the light which reveals.
