Meenakshi was born in a poor familyin Oriya Basti in Bhopal-India. Her parents were gas survivors and have been drinking the toxic water contaminated by the chemical waste of the plant . As a result she is suffering from Cerebral Palsy and Osteoporosis. She also has an acute symptoms of malnutrition. At the age of seven years she is only 2 feet tall.
